January 2024: Big garden birdwatch
During January students and staff were challenged with taking a photo of birds seen in the garden.

Winter fayre
The Christmas Fayre was on the Wednesday 13th December. There were lots of stalls with crafts, games, cake, tea & coffee. Thank you for supporting us

children in need
We had another great week doing things for children in need
We had a Bake Off, colouring competition, code-breaker contest, bear pong, bike ride, fun run, poetry/short story competition and fancy-dress on Friday. Everybody joined in and we had a lot of fun. The staff had a ‘bearpees’ competition. We raised £615 for children in need. WOW that’s amazing

The students and teachers had a pumpkin carving contest. Arthur had 1st place for the students and Sam got 1st place for Staff.
An exciting Day 20:10:23
On Friday it rained all day and Bettws flooded. The river got higher and higher until it burst its banks. It flooded the whole of Bettws. All the cars moved out of the car park, the pub and some houses flooded. The taxis came earlier we had wet journeys home.
Garden day 5:10:23
We had a Gardening day it was fun. I had 3 merits for independent work, it was really good fun. There were 4 activities, apple juice making, Garden wall spray painting, digging a hole for a new pond, and sling shoting. All the students had a great day. My favourite activity was spray painting and i did it at break time and lunch time as well.
